Shipping Policy

COST ASSOCIATED WITH SHIPPING

An additional rate of R80 will be charged per parcel for courier depending on the address. Orders over R500 are free locally. If you live in a remote area costs may increase depending on the location. 

 

DELIVERY TIME FRAME

Ulkona will only ship your items once we have received payment in full. Once your parcel is ready to be shipped we will email you a tracking number. Once you have received this mail, please allow 2 to 5 working days for shipping. 

The ULKONA team will go out of their way to get your purchases shipped in the allocated time-frame. However there may be occasional exceptions due to sale periods, holidays and unforeseen circumstance. Should any of these situations occur, please understand that delivery may take longer.

 

ADDRESS REQUIREMENTS 

Please note that we can’t deliver to a Postal Box and thus a physical address is necessary for shipping within South Africa. Please provide detailed and correct contact information. 

 

COLLECTION 

Should you wish to collect your items please email the ULKONA team directly and we will arrange this. ulkona.cpt@gmail.com

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

For any international orders we are set up with DHL. DHL will allocate a quote based on the requirement. 

Once your parcel has been dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Please note: The buyer is responsible for any duties and/or customs fees that may be incurred by the country of destination.

 

CUSTOMS AND IMPORTS

You may be liable for customs and import duties, quotas, permits, product restrictions and/or other local requirements. Customs policies vary widely from state to state and country to country, so be sure to check this thoroughly before placing an order. ULKONA can’t be held liable for any extra charges.

 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment is currently made through YOCO payments on the website. Credit Cards accepted. 

 

LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

Please check the package before signing.  We recommend to refuse the package if it has been opened, or has been tampered with. The only authority allowed to open the package during transit is local customs. All packages opened by local customs will be sealed with the corresponding stamp of the company.If your items arrive damaged, please contact us. We'll work with you to come up with a solution on a case by case basis.

Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we will either repair / replace it or credit your account, subject to the terms below. 

1.REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

In general, you can return an unwanted product to us provided:

  • It is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and or stickers still attached

  • it is not missing any accessories or parts

Products can be exchanged for a different size provided that the size is available at the same price as the product originally purchased. If such variation is not immediately available, we will refund you with the purchase price of the product within 8 days of you logging the return. 

We reserve the right to inspect the product to validate your return. Once we have done so we will refund you with the purchase price of the product within 8 days of the return. Please bear in mind that refunds can take 5 -10 working days to reflect in your account. We are entitled to refuse a return if the unwanted product is returned damaged, not in a re-saleable condition or missing any accessories.
